School year’s almost over…

Well, it’s almost it. Freshman year - first year of high school - is almost over. The school year went by rather quickly, just like every year of school. However, this school year seemed quicker than all the other years. Maybe it’s because a lot of things changed: friends, schedules, educational priorities, even my relationship status. It’s a shame, really, how drama still ensued despite the fact that everyone keeps reminding us that drama at freshman year would be the worst. Personally, I don’t think I got stuck in the middle of serious drama, but it doesn’t help that friends confide with me their personal dramas in an attempt to make me on their side. It’s great and all that friends consider me trustable, but I don’t want to be confronted with, “WOW HOW COULD YOU SIDE WITH HER?!” then a slap in the face for something I’m not truly involved in. Yeah, won’t that be fun.

Anyway, it’s all good. I still have my fair share of people I like and people I dislike, but hopefully nothing serious would happen next year. Have a great summer, people! I think this will be my last post. Yay! ♥

Oh poo. I’m running out of ideas. I’m getting old.

Curses. I almost forgot about the beautiful blog that I absolutely adooore.

So, as I’m running out of ideas, I’ll just rant about Pokemon again. Evil, aren’t I?

So, on Tuesday, May whatever 2010, I beat the Elite Four. Yeah, that’s right, with my overlevelled dragon-puppy and mud-frog-thing and my severely underlevelled everything else, I beat them. In fact, I was just terrified of Lance’s Dragonites, when in reality lil’ Spot only fainted due to him spamming Dragon Rush like the cheapo he is. In any case, his Gyarados was more dangerous. In fact, the main problem with the Pokemon League was just the fighting guy. Eh.

Bwahahaha I just need three more badges before I get all 16 of them (I need Brock’s, Blue’s and Blaine’s… Oh snap there’s a pattern.). I will not challenge Red though, because his Pokemon go up to 88 or something and THAT AIN’T GONNA BE PRETTY. Besides, I’m not feeling like item-spamming with my level 57 Dialga. :/

Oh well, the bell’s gonna ring. Bye bye.

Badminton’s over… :(

So, it’s finally over. There’s no more practice until next year. I feel horrible because I haven’t been to practice in weeks, and today’s practice is only for the people going to the PALS. I don’t really think I can be blamed for being sick one week and not having rides until last Wednesday, when I was so pumped up to go.. then some smart guy decided, “HEY I’M A COOL GUY I’M GONNA PUSH A LITTLE FRESHMAN GIRL DOWN!!” and thus, he twisted my ankle.

WELL, AIN’T HE COOL?!

So yeah. Everyone keeps asking me, “Hey, why haven’t you been to practice?” and I reply with those things, but since I’m a little freshman girl (my infamously rude brother’s little sister, too!) no one’s gonna really believe me. Of course, they won’t say that, but it’s obvious that they don’t believe me. It’s sad, really, when the truth just doesn’t cut it. But eh, I can’t do anything about it now. The season’s basically over and I can’t do squat about it.

At least I have next year, right?

This Week!— Eh, just another report on my life.

Well, honestly, there wasn’t much about my week other than cramming projects after projects while trying to squeeze Pokemon HeartGold into my schedule. I don’t really feel like having two consecutive posts about Pokemon either, but I’ll do it anyway because I have nothing else to write about it’s the only thing I can think of at this moment. :D

So, nowadays, I’ve been playing Pokemon and using the computer and basically procrastinating on homework until about 8-10 PM, in which I speed through homework and not really learn from it as teachers intend me to. Eh, whatever it takes to keep my straight A’s on my report card and my DS in my hands. However, even my Happy Aquarium fish are being neglected due to my not-so-newly obtained Marshtomp (Bubbles. Yes, I’m naming the third generation starters after the Powerpuff Girls after I get them all) and Grotle (Bulbasaur; this generation of starters will be named after the first generation Pokemon. The first generation Pokemon shall be named after the Rowdyruff Boys), not to mention my Eevee that I named Geek. He’s in my Pokewalker right now. ♥

My progress in the game? I’m at Olivine City, and I just finished the Glitter Lighthouse “dungeon.” I have to surf to Cianwood and whatnot, but I don’t even know what to teach Surf to. The Mudkip family isn’t good with Sp. Atk, so that would waste a move spot. Maybe I’ll go try and find that flying water fish thing (Manatee or whatever; I had one in Colosseum) and teach it surf, because flying water fish things are totally in. *chokes from slang*

The end. Let’s hope that I at least get to Clair before the weekend ends.

Pokemon HeartGold~ ♥

Yeah, that’s right, everybody. Little Spring here finally got her copy of HeartGold! Although I bought it off a friend…

Anyway, I got it last week, and immediately turned it on to play. The previous owner did not delete his data (although he did transfer all of the delicious Pokemon to another one of his Pokemon games…), so I decided to snoop around play that data for a bit. Not only were Raikou and Entei still running around in the while, but he didn’t get some of the gift Pokemon, either. Namely the special Dratini, which will be one of my favorites once I get it back (to be explained later). So, a couple days after catching Entei and Raikou (took me a day each…), I traded them over to a friend and, after some problems with the game, finally started new game.

As of right now, I’m at Goldenrod City. I was not planning to go this far into the game in just a couple of days, as I was intending to take my sweet time overleveling all my other Pokemon. However, level 4 Pidgeys do not suit my taste, so of course I had to run off and do whatever I want to level up. I’m still too poor to catch other Pokemon to use as filler Pokemon to trade with my friend and get my old Pokemon back (specifically, my Dratini, Raikou, and Entei). However, I did save up enough money to catch two Pokemon to trade with my friend to get her Mudkip and Turtwig eggs, which took all day to hatch but was totally worth it. In fact, Marshtomp (I evolved Mudkip before I knew it) is in my Pokewalker right now. ♥

End rant. See you all later, folks.

Hello. How am I?

Well, I am feeling like poo, thank you very much. Allergies are killing me, and I don’t even know what I’m allergic to. All week, I’ve been sneezing over and over again (as the day goes by, the number of sneezes are reduced, but the itch in my eyes grow and grow until I feel blind), and it’s pure torture.

Fun fact: Every time you sneeze, your entire body stops, including your heart. That contributes to the impossibility of keeping your eyes open while sneezing. This means that I’ve been dying at least a billion times for about a second every day.

My boyfriend is always complaining, “Ugh, I feel like poo.” I would always ask, “Why?” and, more likely than not, he will complain about his allergies and how it sucks. Back in the day, I would tell him, “Oh, stop complaining. I doubt it’s really that bad.” Now, I understand his pain. Poor, poor me, learning this the hard way.

If only I knew what I’m secretly allergic to. If I did, then I’d run around with an axe and make sure it never exists to torture me ever again in my life.

My heaaaaart…

According to the title, I am in very much pain. Why? Obviously because my mom keeps breaking her promises not following through with her words.. “Spring, do this” “Spring, do that.” I do all that because she said that, if I do them, I’ll get the Pokemon game. I fulfill my part of that promise with joy, and I even bring home some goodies (like getting 29.5/30 on the HART essay, being the highest scorer in the freshman group on said HART essay, getting second place on the Geometry Contest, and even making it to Rank 1 in the Freshman rankings). Nahh, she just continues to preach that we’re so poor, as if I’m going to be using HER money. I’m just going to be using my birthday money. Even then, this is the first time I’ve used my birthday money anyway. She continues to act as if I’m using her money though. I finally put it through her head that I’m using my own money the other day, and her response was to say that she’s going to be using my birthday money for my brother’s birthday party. Who knew that she considered my money as her’s? I didn’t. I thought that, when people gave me money for my birthday, that it’s my money. Nah, apparently it was never my money. Turns out that she’s been keeping all of my birthday money for herself, claiming that I have no idea how to spend money. Well, I would know how to spend my money if she let me learn it. It would also explain all those shirts and pants and coats and shoes and purses she keeps bringing home.

Nice to know that my money is going to a great cause, mom. Way to be a good influence!!

POKEMON.

Well, Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver is out. They’ve been out for the past five days. However, I still don’t have it, as my parents are so strict about me buying an AceKard to download it (it’s the same price as the actual game, so might as well buy the AceKard so I can get other games with the same price). Sure, I’m rank 1 (along with someone else) in my grade, but nooo, I still don’t quite seem to deserve the newest Pokemon game.

CURSE YOU, RECESSION.

Why is it so  important to me, you may ask? Well, it’s because it’s THE newest Pokemon game. It’s also the remake of the second generation, which happened to be the first game I actually bought for myself and tried to beat (ultimately, my brother played through most of it… and promptly killed off all of the legendaries in existence there). My friends and I had it all planned out: We would download it the day it was released (PI DAY!!) and one of my friends would be trading with me so we can immediately start off with all three starters (Totodile, Cyndaquil, and Chikorita.. though it’s mostly because I can’t choose between Totodile and Cyndaquil; Chikorita’s cute and all, but it isn’t very ideal..). My other friend had an extra event Jirachi and Mew, and she also was willing to find me a Celebi and trade all three over. Do you know how delighted I was to hear that? I doubt so. I’m fairly sure that I can’t get those three legendaries until I beat the Johto League and steal me a National Pokedex, though, but that’s okay, because the gym leaders and the Elite Four seem to be such a low level that, if I happened to have my Kadabra from LeafGreen over (it’s level.. what, 57?) then I could still sweep through the Elite Four with only some trouble (the highest level is like, 55..).

Yeah. End Pokemon rant. What’s the point of this post? I don’t know.. except for the fact that I REALLY WANT ME POKEMON HEARTGOLD. BLAHFDASDLFHRIAFKJHJ.

This week! On the average week of that belongs to.. well, me.

Well, this week, nothing really interesting happened that could be ranted about. Sure, drama happened, tests were aced, goals were disappointed, but I don’t find those stuff interesting enough to rant about. So, er, here I go.

Hmm. Well, this week, I got the highest score on my math test. But I have straight A’s anyway, so it didn’t really matter that I scored an A on the test. At least I didn’t fail the test as many of the other people in my Geometry Honors class did, but I still got exactly one question half-wrong. I redid it today for the sake of getting a 100% (It was only one question.. Might as well just finish it). Yeah. Not interesting.

My friend let me borrow one of her games today. It was one of those combo-packs of games and all that fun stuff. Guess what? It had Pokemon HeartGold “half-transltaed.” Excited, I turn on the DS.. The combo-pack worked like a charm and I played Pokemon until I realized that it wasn’t even half-translated; almost everything was still in Japanese, besides the menu and the dialogue of the gym leaders. Disappointed, I just played her Cooking Mama game till I snoozed. Still not interesting.

Drama, drama, drama.. Let’s not even go there. Haha. Sucks for you, reader.

… On a brighter side, because this post is pretty boring considering that I don’t exactly have much to talk about, I’ll tell a little story that happened today that I found endlessly amusing. So I was walking with my dear little Leo to this class (fifth period, Keyboarding), then we walked by one of my friends that Leo dislikes. The guy ignored me this morning when I said hi, so I said to him, “Hi! You ignored me this morning!” He put up his hand to try and wave at me… only for Leo to burp literally at his face. Made my day.

MLIA.

What’s up?

Eep. My first impulse when I entered the title was to press “Enter.” I did so and it posted the blog without me typing anything in the post. Oopsie. Epic fail.

Anyway, today, apparently, there was a state-wide walk out (Today is March 3, 2010, by the way. In case there isn’t a time stamp on tumblr). I had no clue what was going on and why there was a crowd over by E-wing while I was leaving my fourth period class (French. Yay!) for lunch. I just heard people talking about walk-outs (school ditchers?) and how people “jumped the fence at the football field.. only to run back to school). I was slightly interested in the story of what was going on, but all I heard on the topic was that, apparently, it’s the way students are protesting against the budget cuts. I’m more surprised that students are so loyal to their education that they would ditch school for something like that… or maybe it’s just their excuse to ditch class. Either way, I hear that most of them ran back to school anyway.

Today, after school, I’m going to go watch Alice in Wonderland. Yay! I feel bad because I won’t be able to go to badminton practice, but either way, if I went, I wouldn’t have a ride home. Besides, I’ve been planning this with my friends for a while. I’m mostly concerned, however, that I will not be hearing movie effects, but rather I’ll be hearing screaming “fan-girl” idiots going, “OOOH, IT’S MAD HATTER!!” Me myself, I’m not interested in any American celebrities (Go Ikuta Toma!), but apparently the other Americans are. Meh…

… Five bucks that, the moment I leave the cinema, I’ll be asking what happened in the movie, who said what, and I won’t be able to hear an answer because I’ll be deaf.
